great night out and treatment getting closer

Bit of a last min decision on Saturday. At the local Guildhall was an 80s tribute band 'Made in the 80s', Lisa and me made a choice late on that we kinda fancied a date night, booked the tickets and went along. Well it was a very good decision, what a great show😊😁, some real 80s classics done brilliantly. Not sure either of us stopped singing along all night, I'm a massive fan of 80s music so this was a real treat.

the heat got to me today

Today it's been over 30 degrees. I am very much a summer person and never normally have issues with the heat, but, for some reason today the heat really did get to me. Went for a ride out on Eleanor this morning. to go with Lisa to drop something off at the hospital, didn't really pay any attention to the weather when we left.

last nights gig and an update

Hey, Everyone. Well that gig last night seeing 'Hey Beatles' live was fantastic. They were brilliantly entertaining played some absolutely top Beatles tracks and actually even had me laughing at times, front row seats were a result as well... no idea what legend booked them 😊😂🤣. Have to add, the lead guitarist really was unbelievable, some of the solo's were totally unreal. Such a great night, loved every minute of it. Few times we've been to events at the Guildhall and have never been let down.

Awful nightmare and mental health help

Well I can only start by saying, that dream was AWFUL!. I wont go in to details but, when I woke up after it, can only say how rubbish I felt. Thankfully I had support from Lisa who listened to me when I talked about it, but, that dream really brought a few bits home to me and kinda opened my eyes to a few things. It was only after going to the doctors, to have my blood work done, ready for my next Ocrevus treatment that I realised I had to try and take some time out to help myself. Never had a dream hit me so hard, so once finished with the doctors I stayed on my mobility scooter for a bit and took a nice ride around to try and calm myself. It did work so now thankfully I'm a bit more relaxed. Sometimes we just need a little mental health break, even if that's just a few minutes doing something you enjoy.

fatigue is a total b1tch

hey, all. Let's talk about how much a *B*fatigue is. Over the last couple of day's I've probably over done things a bit, the gardening and then adding some acoustic padding to the walls of the studio, to help the sound on the podcast and live streaming games. Today when I woke up to take my pain meds it was such a struggle to open my eyes, no sooner were the meds taken I fell back to sleep again, honestly I couldn't have got up no matter how much I tried. My opinion the work that had been done the last couple of days wasn't much, but, wow it's taken it's toll. Everything that could ache currently does, spent some time in the studio listening to music and relaxing with some Xbox, must have been 13:30 time it was possible for me to get up. Well aware I still have so much to learn about MS but this was a bit of a lesson, literally so different to normal tiredness.

Gardening and how it helps my mental health

Hey, all. Well, today I finally got out to plant the new flowers we bought a few days ago. Suffering for it now but it was well worth it, both plants have gone in the border and should give it some nice colour. It defiantly wasn't an easy task if I'm honest, the digging I'd done the day we bought the flowers but still today it was needed to fill with some good quality soil and then plant. As well as that I added more soil to the rest of the border and the plants in the planters. Had a shower after and I have to say it wasn't easy to be fair, the pain and stiffness in both my legs and back as well as feeling very wobbly made me have to be very careful, after that had a nice nap on the sofa haha.
